Yang Chen was born in Heilongjiang, China, in 1988. She received the B.S. degree in automation from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing, China, in 2007. She received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2013. She is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the Harbin Institute of Technology. Her research interests include energy storage and conversion, battery equalization, and battery model establishment.
