Wei Chen

Wei Chen received the bachelor's and master's degrees from the Harbin University of Science and Technology, Harbin, China, in 1998 and 2001, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in optical engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2011. He is currently a Professor with Shanghai University, Shanghai, China. From 2001 to 2014, he was with Fiberhome Telecommunication Technology Co., Ltd. and from May 2014 to August 2021, he was with Hengtong Optical Fiber Technology Co., Ltd. His research interests include optical fiber communication, specialty optical fiber and fiber sensing technology, and optical fiber devices.
