The Cr Research Group focuses on the interesting magnetism observed in the arc-typical antiferromagnet Cr. Current research interest focuses on the observed quantum practicality bulk Cr in its alloys. Research have further been extended to novel magnetism observed in un-doped and doped Chromites thin films and nano-particles as well as thin films of Cr and its alloys. The group makes use of the physical properties measurement system based on Cryogenic Limited, Cryogen Free measurement Platform. This system can measure with the appropriate insert in a temperatures rang of 60mK to a 1000deg C, within a magnetic field of a few milli-Tesla up to 14 Tesla. The group also does neutron diffraction studies and XPS with various collaborators.
