Chao Jia

Chao Jia received the B.E. degree in automation and M.E. degree in control science and engineering from the Tianjin University of Technology, Tianjin, China, in 2002 and 2008, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, in 2013. He joined the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Tianjin University of Technology, in 2002, becoming an Associate Professor, in 2013. He was a Visiting Scholar with Columbia University, NY, USA, from 2016 to 2017. Since 2023, he has also been a Visiting Scholar with Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. His current research interests include nonlinear control, adaptive control, and intelligent control and their applications.
