Cathrine Frandsen

Cathrine Frandsen is currently a Professor in physics with the Technical University of Denmark, Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. She is author of ca. 100 papers, including three in science and two patent applications. Her research focuses on magnetic materials, specifically she works on controlling the heating of magnetic nanoparticles in high-frequency fields and exploiting this to design new nanostructured magnetic materials for green energy solutions and health technology. Prof. Frandsen was the recipient of three awards for her work.
