Catarina Antunes

Bruna Silva concluded recently her master's degree in Applied Biology at University of Aveiro (UA, Portugal), and has a bachelor's degree in Biology and Geology (2020) by UA. After the conclusion of her master's, she was selected for a master research grant by the FCT funded project LED (aims to understand how light pollution can mediate the ecological effects of antineoplastic drugs in urban aquatic ecosystems) at CESAM - Center for Environmental and Marine Studies. She is the (co) author of two scientific articles, and presented three poster presentations in international meetings. In 2022, Bruna was part of the supporting staff at SIBECOL-AIL meeting (Aveiro, Portugal). Participated in the Biology and Geology Student Council. At the moment, her main topics of research focus on aquatic ecology and ecotoxicology, studying pollutant effects (light pollution and pharmaceuticals).
