Carolina Orlando Vaso

Ph.D. in Sciences with emphasis on Mycology (Universidade Estadual Paulista), acting with research in mycology (Histoplasma spp., Candida spp., dermatophytes, Cryptococcus spp. P. brasiliensis, etc.), with emphasis on alternative methodologies (three-dimensional cell cultures). Maintenance and experimentation in alternative mammalian animals (Zebrafish, G. mellonella, and C. elegans), with a focus on testing the safety and pharmacological efficacy of molecules, drugs, and compounds, in addition to addressing the real-time PCR technique to study host interaction -pathogen. Internship in the microbiology sector at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA). I have worked in the diagnosis and treatment of alternative therapies for dairy cattle. Graduated in Biomedicine from the Centro Universitário Central Paulista (UNICEP). Curricular internship in Clinical Clinical Analysis at the same university.
