Carlos Rafael Silva de Oliveira

Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Blumenau campus. He holds a degree (2010) in TEXTILE ENGINEERING from the State University of Maringá (UEM), a specialization (2012) in PROJECT MANAGEMENT from the National Commercial Learning Service (SENAC/SC), a master's degree (2015) and a doctorate (2020) in CHEMICAL ENGINEERING from Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He was also a fellow CNPq Junior Postdoctoral Fellow (PDJ) in the Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering at UFSC. He is currently a member of the research groups TECHNOSYS (Technological Development of Chemical Systems) and TECTEXTIL (Technological Development of Textiles) at CNPq, together with the teams from LabMASSA (Laboratory of Mass Transfer) and LabSIN (Laboratory of Numerical Simulation of Chemical Systems) in the PosENQ-UFSC, working in the areas of Textile Processes, Transport Phenomena and Environment. As a researcher, he has experience in the development of FUNCTIONAL TEXTILE FINISHES, SMART TEXTILES (Wearables), COMPOSITE MATERIALS, FIBERS/POLYMERS, MICRO and NANOMATERIALS FOR TEXTILE APPLICATIONS, OPTIMIZATION OF TEXTILE INDUSTRY PROCESSES, REDUCTION AND TREATMENT OF INDUSTRIAL WASTE (Solid and Effluent) and USE OF NATURAL DYES and NATURAL PRODUCTS in textile ennoblement processes.
