Carlos José Alvarez

PhD student in Pharmaceutical Sciences - FCF / UNICAMP, has a project under development at the Department of Plant Physiology of the Institute of Biology . Fellow CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel). Master of Science, in the area of concentration in Drugs, Medicines and Health Supplies obtained by the program of Biosciences and Technology of Bioactive Products of IB / UNICAMP. Graduated in Microbiology at the Universidad de Pamplona - Colombia. He has experience in the field of plant microbiology and phytochemistry, aiming at prospecting bioactive molecules with different applications, has worked with filamentous fungi from the environment and endophytic microorganisms associated with medicinal plants and of important biological endemism. In addition, it operates in the areas of molecular biology and plant biotechnology (plant cell and tissue culture).
