Bio

I am interested in advanced enzymology, signal transduction, mol. virology and protein expression. My research projects has lead to formation of 11 PhD and 12 BsC students under my tutelage. I am an active peer reviewer at 26 prestigious scientific journals. My position is Associate Professor at Fed. Univ. of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The main fields of my work includes regulation of Na,K-ATPase, HIV-1 RT-transcriptase/HSV-1 DNA-POL antivirals, FXYD2 and other P-type ATPase related studies.
