Carlos Collado

Carlos Collado (Senior Member, IEEE) received the degree in telecommunication engineering, the Ph.D. degree, and the M.S. degree in biomedical engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, in 1995, 2001, and 2002, respectively. In 2004, he joined the University of California Irvine, Irvine, CA, USA, as a Visiting Researcher. From 2009 to 2010, he was in a Sabbatical at the National Institute of Standards and Technologies (NIST), Boulder, CO, USA. Since 2005, he has been an Associate Professor with UPC. His primary research interests include microwave devices and systems, the study of efficient methods for the analysis of nonlinear effects in communication systems, and characterization of the nonlinear behavior of electroacoustic devices.
