My main interests are in tropical medicine, focused on insect vectors of neglected diseases. I completed doctorate in 2007, under bilateral cooperation between Fiocruz (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC, in Atlanta, GA, USA).
