Candido Cabo received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in telecommunication engineering from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 1982, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University, Durham, NC, in 1992. From 1992 to 1995, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Pharmacology, Health Sciences Center, State University of New York, Syracuse, NY. From 1995 to 2000, he was an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Pharmacology, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, New York City, NY. In 2000, he joined New York City College of Technology, City University of New York (CUNY), where he is currently the Chairman of the Department of Computer Systems Technology. Since 2005, he has been a Member of the doctoral faculty at CUNY Graduate Center. His research interests include the use of experimental and computational approaches to understand and solve problems in cardiac electrophysiology.
