My research interests focus on improving pain disparities among understudied populations (i.e. Latinx, rural). I am interested in cultural adaptions of assessment tools and psychosocial treatment for chronic pain. I am also interested in the implementation of evidence-based practices for pain management in primary care settings. I am currently a T-32 research fellow at the University of Florida and I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alabama in 2019.
