My research deals mainly with the quantum properties of light, especially in the regime of the so-called “continuous variables”, where one is interested in the study of the quantum fluctuations of the electromagnetic field of the light wave (investigating more the wave properties of quantum light than its particle properties). I have also conducted different research projects about Optical Parametric Oscillators (OPOs), lasers and nonlinear optics. I have worked, both at the theoretical and experimental levels on the tailoring of quantum fluctuations of light fields, their quantum correlations and multi-partite entanglement Awards Fellow of the Optical Society (OSA) Fellow of the European Optical Society (EOS) Great prize Léon Brillouin of the French Optical Society (SFO) (“given for his whole research work to a world famous researcher in the field of optics having spent most of his life in France”).
