Bruno Figueiredo

Bruno Figueiredo is Associate Professor at the School of Architecture of the University of Minho, researcher at Lab2PT (Landscapes, Heritage and Territory Laboratory) R&D unit of the University of Minho and member of the Advanced Ceramics Laboratory (Design Institute of Guimarães). PhD in Construction and Technology (EAUM, 2016), supported by a scholarship from the Foundation of Science and Technology for the studies carried out at MIT (Design Computation Group, 2012). His research is centered on the use of digital tools in architecture, encompassing the development of generative and analytical computational design models and the integration of robotic systems for digital fabrication of architectural components, namely in the implementation and control of additive manufacturing techniques.
