Bruce J. Gerbi

Bruce J. Gerbi received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Minnesota. He is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Physics Section of the Department of Therapeutic Radiology at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. He has been at the University of Minnesota Medical School since 1982, and has helped establish programs in stereotactic radiosurgery, fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy, Gamma-knife irradiation, and total-body and total-skin irradiation. His current research interests include stereotactic radiosurgery, three-dimensional (3-D) conformal and intensity-modulated radiation therapy, TomoTherapy, and detector-design and patient-dose verification.
