Brian M. Rotermund

I am a graduate student attending Florida State University pursuing my PhD in Chemistry. I have joined the Thomas Schönzart Group doing research with the Lanthanides and Actinides including the transuranic actinides. I attended to University of Massachusetts Lowell to pursue an interest in chemistry. I had a particular interest in radiation and radiochemistry. To further pursue these interests, I took advantage of the nuclear engineering program at UMass Lowell and minored in nuclear engineering. I was able to get an internship at Lantheus Medical Imaging, who is a producer of medical radioisotopes in the United States, where I contributed towards research to electrodeposition on cyclotron targets.
