Bio

B. Lau was born in Hong Kong, in 1984. He is currently working toward the degree in engineering physics at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada. From 2004 to 2005, he was a Junior Researcher at the Nanoelectronics Group, Technical Physics Department, University of Würzburg, Würzburg, Germany. During this time, his research focused on the development of nanoelectronic devices, such as complex logic and memory storage elements, as well as investigating bistable switching phenomena in capacitively coupled quantum wire (QW) transistors.
