Biljana Lončar

Biljana Lončar (female) received her MSc (2010) and PhD (2015) degrees in Technological Engineering from the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technology Novi Sad, at the Department of Chemical Engineering (doctoral thesis "Chemometric approach to osmotic dehydration of silver carp (Carassius gibelio), master thesis: "Mass transfer kinetics during osmotic dehydration of apple and red cabbage in sugar beet molasses"). She is employed at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technology Novi Sad, at the Department of Chemical Engineering since 2011, presently being a Senior Research Fellow. She started as a researcher on the project "Osmotic dehydration of food - energy and environmental aspects of sustainable production" of the Faculty of Technology, funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia (2011-2019). The main fields of her research work are animal and plant raw materials drying, osmotic drying, and chemometrics. Biljana Lončar has published over 100 'peer-reviewed articles in international scientific journals, periodicals and conference proceedings.
