Bianzhu Fu received the B.S. degree in materials science and engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2007, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in metallurgical and materials engineering, with a focus on fabrication and characterization of magnetic devices for ultrahigh density magnetic recording applications, from The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Al, USA, in 2010 and 2011, respectively. In 2012, he joined Globalfoundries, Malta, NY, USA, where he was involved in physical characterization and the analysis of semiconductor devices and circuits.
