Bethann Garramon Merkle

Pronouns: she/her and elle. I've trained nearly 2,000 scientists how to inclusively and ethically share their science with diverse, public audiences and raise funding to do so. I was a first-generation student, and have bylines and illustrations in books and publications including Nature, American Scientist, BioScience, and Natural Sciences Education. I'm an editor (3 journals), direct the U. Wyoming SciComm Initiative, & lead/co-lead strategic initiatives at UW and beyond.
