Bernhard Muellinger

Bernhard is Vice President Inhalation Technology at Vectura GmbH. Since 24 years, he is working in interdisciplinary development teams on new drug products and inhalation devices, deposition modelling, aerosol delivery strategies, patient compliance management, in vitro testing of inhalation products. He works on pediatric and severe asthma, pulmonary hypertension, vaccination, influenza, cystic fibrosis and COPD with small molecules, peptides and proteins. He started at Fraunhofer Institute woking on gas sensors, HelmholtzZentrum in aerosol research and Asklepios Clinic in diagnostics. He joined Dr. Gerhard Scheuch in 2000 to build up a respiratory specialty CRO and a respiratory drug/device development company, which led led to successful products and several spin-off companies.
