I'm intrigued by how immune cells monitor our body. My research focuses on the intestinal epithelium, particularly intraepithelial lymphocytes (IELs). We use intravital microscopy in mice to study IEL surveillance, which is microbiota-dependent and crucial for protecting against microbes. Now, I'm investigating how IEL surveillance impacts colorectal cancer development using animal models alongside single-cell sequencing and intravital imaging technics.
