Bernard Placais works at the Laboratoire de Physique of the Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris. He does experimental research in Condensed Matter and Quantum Physics. His current projects deal with quantum statistics of electrons, microwave transport, noise and optoelectronics in Quantum Materials such as graphene, 2D-Materials, topological insulators and Quantum Hall states.
