Behzad Gerami-Naini

Behzad Gerami-Naini currently works at the Diagnostic Sciences, Tufts University. Behzad does research in Developmental Biology, Molecular Biology and Cell Biology. main interest is in translational medicine and cell therapy. He has been collaborating with faculty members at Tufts University and other academic institutions to study diseases such as type II Diabetes and wound healing, age related macular degeneration (AMD), and neurodegenerative disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). He utilizes iPSCs generated from patients manifesting these diseases to study tissue-specific repair.
