Beatriz Lopez

I received my degree in Biological Chemistry at Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala where I was a professor and researcher at the School of Chemical Sciences and Pharmacy. In 1996 I was awarded a postgraduate fellowship in laboratory research at the Tropical Medicine Institute, University of Nagasaki, Japan. From 1997 to 2016 I worked at the Center for Health Studies, Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. Since 2017 I am a Laboratory Specialist for the CDC office, Central America Region
