Bassem Ibrahim

Bassem Ibrahim (Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2004 and 2012, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in computer engineering with Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA. He has ten years of experience in the design of integrated circuits for sensors chips. His research interests include exploring new modalities for wearable physiological sensing, investigating machine learning, and signal processing techniques to predict actionable information from physiological time-series data. He was the recipient of the Best Poster Award at BioCAS 2019.
