My interest focuses on immune reactions in immunocompromised hosts on the model of kidney recipients. The major questions are what kind of immune reactions are triggered in the immunocompromised by urine microbiome and urinary tract infections and whether IL17 contributes to these. Metabolomic studies and natural products directed investigations complete the approach to host-microbe interaction under such circumstances. Machine learning methods are implemented to manage complex data.
