Bio
Dr. Bas van Oudheusden is associate professor in Aerodynamics at Delft University of Technology. His current research interests are viscous flow effects at low and high speed regimes, shock wave – boundary layer interactions (SWBLI), unsteady flows (including flapping-wing aerodynamics) and “pressure-from-PIV”. Regarding the latter topic he published a review article in Measurement Science and Technology (2013, doi:10.1088/0957-0233/24/3/032001) and acted as co-ordinator of the EU-funded collaborative project NIOPLEX (2013-2016) and WP leader in its follow-up HOMER (2018-2020). He was also involved in two European projects on SWBLI: UFAST (2005-2009) and TFAST (2012-2016). He is (co-)author of approximately 160 scientific articles (Scopus, July 2018).
