个人简介
The challenge of my project is to identify the archaeal machineries implicated in RNA processing, turnover and quality control. We obtained the first hints towards identifying novel archaeal ribonucleases in our recent published systematic phylogenomic and experimental work characterizing aCPSF1 and aRNase J as highly conserved β-CASP ribonucleases in Archaea. We tackle the biological function of aCPSF1 and aRNase J and their interplay in RNA metabolism of the archaeal cell.
