Avijit Mitra

Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in CS at UMass Amherst. My focus is on developing effective NLP and DL based predictive models for unstructured clinical text such as EHRs. Prior to this, I worked as a Deep Learning Researcher at Semion Ltd. I worked on the development and deployment of AI-based healthcare solutions for different clients. I am extremely interested in any DL-oriented application in the biomedical domain.
