Aurelia Falcicchio

Aurelia Falcicchio was born in Altamura 6th of July 1979. She is a postdoc researcher at Institute of Crystallography of Bari, CNR since 2010. In 2012 she has been a visiting researcher at the University of Göttingen by using Vigoni Grants. In 2010 dissertion of PhD Thesis in organic chemistry at University of Bari, A. Moro. During PhD program between 2008 and 2009 fellowship at Center for Catalysis, University of Aarhus, Denmark. graduated in Medicinal Chemistry in 2006 with a research thesis in inorganic chemistry. Main research interests are: • Crystallization of inorganic or organic small molecule as well as and organo-metallic intermediated of reactions and small peptides. • Structural Solution from powder and single crystal diffraction by using EXPO for the extraction of integrated intensities from a powder diffraction pattern and for the crystal structure solution via Direct Methods and SIR1 for the automatic solution of single crystal structures by Direct and Patterson Methods. • Qualitative analysis of polycrystalline mixtures by using QUALX1 program for phase identification of powder diffraction data.
