Atidel B. Hadj-Alouane is currently a Professor in the Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management department, at the University of Sharjah, in the UAE. Until June 2021, she held the position of Professor of Industrial Engineering (IE) at the National Engineering School of Tunis (ENIT), Tunisia. She is the founder of the Optimization and Analysis of Service and Industrial Systems (OASIS) research laboratory. Her research interests include Integrated logistics systems & green logistics, Risk management in supply chains, Scheduling, and OR application to Telecommunications, Cloud systems and infrastructure, and Health systems. Recently, she started a joint project on Smart scheduling within the the context of Industry 4.0.
