Asef Zadehgol-Mohammadi

Asef Zadehgol-Mohammadi received his BSc degree in electrical engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2003, and his MSc degree in power electronics and electrical machinery from Iran University of Science and Technology in 2006. He researched on batteries and fuel-cells characterization and lifetime estimation for wireless sensor networks in Cork, Ireland from 2008 to 2011. Asef is a licensed Professional Engineer and has provided consulting engineering services for various industrial, educational, and healthcare clients in the US. He is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the Electrical & Computer Engineering department at the University of Illinois at Chicago, US, since Fall 2019, and has been Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant in several electronics and signal processing research projects and courses. His research interests include Power Electronics, Renewable Energies, and Power Distribution Systems.
