Arun is trained as an epidemiologist and has experience working on clinical trials and longitudinal cohorts. After finishing his PhD in Public health he worked on a national wide multi-centric surveillance system for the estimation of burden of Typhoid in India. Arun is currently working as a Senior Research Associate in Biostatistics/ Epidemiology in Medical Research Council Integrative Epidemiology Unit at University of Bristol and He is also funded by the NIHR Bristol Biomedical Research Centre. He is currently involved in the BHF Health Data Research UK (HDRUK) led CVDCOVIDUK/COVID IMPACT consortium funded in a study looking at the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on children undergoing congenital heart disease surgeries in England and a study looking at the impact of COVID on reproductive health.
