Arttu Jutila

Arttu Jutila was born in Inari, Finland, in 1992. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in hydrospheric geophysics from the University of Helsinki, Helsinki, Finland, in 2014 and 2017, respectively. He is pursuing the Dr. rer. nat. degree with the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research, Bremerhaven, Germany. In 2018, he joined the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research. His research interests include snow on sea ice, microwave radar remote sensing, and sea-ice mass balance. Mr. Jutila is a Junior Member of the International Glaciological Society (IGS).
