Armando Malanda

Armando Malanda was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1967. He graduated in telecommunication engineering from Madrid Polytechnic University, in 1992. He received the Ph.D. degree from Carlos III University, Madrid, in 1999. In 1992 he joined the School of Telecommunication and Industrial Engineering of the Public University of Navarra, Navarra, Spain. In 2003 he became an Associate Professor in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of the same university. During this period he has been teaching several subjects related to digital signal processing, image processing and biomedical engineering. His areas of interest include the analysis, modeling and simulation of bioelectrical signals, particularly EEG and EMG.
