Before becoming a Hokie(joining Virginia Tech), I worked as a Senior Software Developer at Siemens Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. Within the first two months of joining the organization, I was conferred with the “Best Performer” award. My role in the organization saw me working on the User Interface of web applications that had multifaceted usage in the healthcare domain. For the development, the main languages of use were JavaScript, HTML and CSS, with extensive support of the AngularJS framework. My research saw me working on generating dynamic narratives from a causal network, utilizing techniques such as node importance, cliques estimation, text summarization and time-series analysis. Furthermore, the narration generation tool is encapsulated in a blockchain empowered wrapper to transparently and securely track user interaction and help monetize the whole system.
