Antonio Puerta-Notario

Antonio Puerta-Notario received the Telecommunication Engineering Degree from the Technical University of Madrid, Spain, in 1973, and the Doctoral Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Technical University of Barcelona, Spain, in 1982. From 1973 to 1989, as Associate Professor at Telecommunication Engineering School of Barcelona, he was engaged in teaching applied mathematics and circuits theory, research and development for industrial applications, and research on switched capacitor circuits. In 1990, he joined the University of Málaga Spain, as Full Professor in the Department of Communications Engineering. Since 1994, he has been Director of the Telecommunication Engineering School of the University of Málaga. Currently, his research interests include optical receivers and transmitter design, and wireless optical communications.
