Antonio Alonso-Ayuso

Antonio Alonso-Ayuso was born in Santander, Spain, in 1968. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 1992 and 1997, respectively. He is currently a Full-Time Professor with the Department of Statistics and Operational Research, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid. He has been a Member of several research projects at different Spanish universities, the European Commission (through the Leonardo Da Vinci program), and the National Research Plan (several of the projects as main research). He has a number of papers in well-rated international journals and has collaborated with different firms on applied projects. His main research interests include linear and integer mathematical programming, decision models, and stochastic programming applied to combinatorial problems.
