My research work focused on isolation, characterization and metabolomics of primary and secondary metabolites from medicinal and aromatic plants by using GCMS, UPLC-MS/MS and NMR techniques. In addition, my work also includes semi-synthetic modification of isolated compounds, qualitative and quantitative analysis of volatile components in essential oils, new analytical method development for quality control of herbal products and in-vitro antidiabetic and antioxidant activities.
