Our research has been focusing on different fields of organic chemistry, from the isolation and structure elucidation of natural products and synthesis of natural product analogs to the application of mass spectrometry and hyphenated techniques (mainly LC-MS) for dereplication purposes and studies on organic reaction mechanisms using ESI-MS. We are also interested in the biological activities of these compounds, especially the antimicrobial, antiparasitic, and insecticidal activities
