Anna Maria Visscher

As an early-stage researcher, my area of expertise lies in tropical (smallholder) agriculture, specifically in the realm of land-use systems. Over the past several years, my research has focused on various aspects of soil quality and analysis, biodiversity, forest ecology, plant-soil interactions, swidden agriculture, chronosequence, and agroforestry. In my work, I prioritize the use of participatory approaches and place a high value on direct engagement with local workers and farmers.
