Anmar Dulaimi

Dr Anmar Dulaimi is the Head of the Department of Scientific Affairs and Assistance Professor in Civil Engineering at the University of Warith Al Anbiyaa in Karbala Iraq. He did his PhD at Liverpool John Moores University in the UK. Following his PhD, he did several years of research at the University of Liverpool John Moores, University of Kerbala and Warith Al-Anbiyaa University. He is an Associate Fellow of the HEA UK, 2015. Dr. Dulaimi has a wide interest and productive research in broad subjects and areas covering Pavement Engineering, Cold mix asphalt, hot mix asphalt, soil stabilization, sustainable green concrete and advanced composites. He has novel contributions to the development of the cold mix asphalt and using different types of waste materials in both hot and cold mix asphalt. As the leader of the sustainable studies group at University of Warith Al Anbiyaa, he is leading studies to improve the performance of cold mix asphalt and meet the requirements of the pavement industry. He has over 70 publications, including 25 peer-reviewed international journal articles, and 45 peer-reviewed international conference papers. He has graduated 8 MScs and established wide research collaborations with universities in the UK, Egypt, Malaysia and Iraq.
