Anielle Christine Almeida Silva was born in Brazil. She received the bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU), Minas Gerais, Brazil, in 2010 and 2014, respectively. In 2015, she held a postdoctoral position with UFU, where she was an Associate Professor from 2015 to 2018. Since 2018, she has been a Professor with the Physics Institute, Universidade Federal de Alagoas. She has experience in the area of physics, with emphasis on condensed matter physics, focused mainly on the following subjects such as syntheses of diverse nanomaterials, quantum dots, and core-shell engineering of diverse nanomaterials. Her main interests include the development of nanomaterials for bio-applications and nanotechnology, such as for biological probes.
