My research program conducts discovery and clinical/population based studies focused on understanding nutrient metabolism and requirements during development and preventing cardiometabolic disease in high-risk children, including those with diabetes and mental illness. For this reason many of my publications are in nutrient/metabolism and pediiatric journals.
