My current field of research focuses on nanoscale analysis of nanostructured materials and heterostructures using advanced methods of transmission electron microscopy as well as on developmnet of new investigation and specimen preparation techniques for the electron microscopy. My research activity aims at understanding the interplay between local structure, properties and functionality of nanostructured materials and heterostructures.
