A.N. Redko

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Kuban State Medical Institute named after the Red Army in 1987. He was trained in clinical residency and full-time postgraduate studies in the specialty "Social Hygiene and Health Care Organization". In 1993, he defended his theses for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic "Suicide as a Social and Hygienic Problem." In 2006, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic:"Socially Dangerous Pathology as a Problem of Public Health and Health Care" in the Dissertation Council at the Central Research Institute for Organization and Informatization of Health Care of the Ministry of Health Care of the Russian Federation (Moscow). More than 30 years of scientific and pedagogical experience. He held the positions of assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, and professor of the department. The Higher Attestation Commission (VAK) of the Russian Federation awarded him the title of Associate Professor (2001), Professor (2009). He is the author of more than 200 scientific and educational works. Under the leadership of A.N. Redko defended six PhD theses. He is one of the developers of an automated control system for the treatment and diagnostic process in the provision of emergency medical care to the population; systems of medical and economic monitoring of premature and preventable mortality in the Krasnodar Region; systems of indicative assessment of medical, social and resource efficiency of health care in municipalities. He participated in joint research with the Center for the Study of Health Trends in the Population of Eastern Europe and Russia (Stockholm University, Sweden), in an international study of population aging, conducted in Russia under the auspices of the World Health Organization. In 2019, he was the head of the regional stage of the All-Russian study "Epidemiology of Cardiovascular Diseases in the Regions of the Russian Federation" (ESSE-RF2), Scientific interests: epidemiology of infectious and non-infectious diseases, premature and preventable mortality, trends in the formation of public health and organizational and economic foundations for improving medical care.
