Dr. Andrew Sciallis received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 2003 and his M.D. from the University of Minnesota Medical School-Twin Cities in 2007. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 2011 where he served as co-chief resident. He then completed fellowships in Surgical Pathology (2012, serving as chief fellow) and Cytopathology (2013), both at the Mayo Clinic. He then completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Pathology at the University of Michigan in 2014.

In April 2014, Dr. Sciallis joined the faculty at the University of Michigan Department of Pathology as Assistant Professor. He serves as Director of the Medical Student Pathology Clerkship and participates in medical student and resident education. He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as Cytopathology.
